1.5T Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
MRI uses a magnetic field, radio waves and computer tp produce extremely detail pictures of the inside of your body. Its generally used to help diagnose and monitor treatment for a variety of conditions within the head, chest, abdomen and pelvis.
X-Ray Machine
It employs electromagnetic waves to create images of the inside of your body. The most familiar use of X-ray is for creating images for orthopaedic use.
iDXA Scanner
The latest in densitometer for body composition and bone mineral assessment. It employs a fan beam technology with a large number of detectors.
Electroencephalogram Machine (EEG)
To test and detects the abnormalities in your brain. Electrodes are applied to your scalp to help diagnose a number of conditions including Elilepsy, Sleep disorder, Stroke and brain tumours.
Electrocardiogram Machine (ECG)
For checking your heart’s rhythm and electrical activity.
Ultrasound Machine
An ultrasound scan is a procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to create an image of part of inside of the body. It can be use to monitor an unborn baby, disgnose a condition or guide a surgeon during certain procedures.
